Position Purpose & Summary
The Digital Learning Consultant is responsible for the management and administration of digital learning initiatives and programs from global stakeholders. This position collaborates with and coordinates appropriate resources with the L&D COE, HR Solutions regional teams, Technical Training teams and the businesses as needed. This role provides consultation on the best way to administer content and programs across Cargill. This role is a dotted line to the L&D COE and will directly support the administration of all Global Digital Learning programs and initiatives leveraging various learning technologies (i.e. Degreed, uPerform and Intrepid). The role demands expert knowledge on Learning Management Systems and administration.

Principal Accountabilities
Learning Curation and Pathway Management
  • Provide consultation with Business and Functions on how best to set up new content in Degreed, Intrepid, uPerform and other systems as necessary
  • Monitor and manage program enrollment and communicate with delivery team regularly this includes adding and removing learners from a program as needed
  • Upload/Remove or Deactivate Digital Learning programs – Program maintenance process
  • Understand AICC and SCORM eLearning standards and be able to communicate with Design team any issues
  • Add new and/or copy programs quarterly per the delivery schedule
  • Develop program shells in Intrepid and Degreed to support self-registration and delivery
  • Provide quality assurance and review of all programs added to the learning environment
  • Manage Non-Technical user administration (i.e. add/delete/modify users (contractors))
  • Manage the review process for new contractors and admins being added to Learning technologies
  • Assign Learning to employees as needed and consult with others to support self-service
  • Manage survey’s and assessments and assign to appropriate learning items
  • Develop and maintain the structure for time bound learning in systems as needed
  • Review, approve and test all new functionality and updates turned on through quarterly releases impacting Learning Content Management and Administration
  • Test eLearning content for courses and troubleshoot as needed to fix content provided directly from the Business and Functions
Learning Content Management
  • Manage L&D COE global content (templates, training, job aids, process documents, etc)
  • Provide feedback and implement system and development tool modifications needed to enable content management
  • Support all content management in uPerform or other systems as needed
  • Manage end user view and publishing of content in all Learning systems
  • Identify any needed new custom fields, labels and drop down menus as needed within content tool templates
  • Upload/Remove Digital Learning content – Library maintenance process
Learning Governance
  • Provide L&D process, training and documentation support for digital learning and content administration
  • Support and communicate L&D policies and governance
  • Provide input to and follow governance to ensure requirements related to learning processes are met
  • Lead global Learning Administrator Community of Practice trains and supports new administrators
Qualifications
Education, Experience, Skills
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in learning/education/human resources or similar field; or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in learning management
  • Highly skilled in learning and content management practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate, identify and plan for obstacles or barriers to learning and development solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and make decisions that impact business results.
  • Ability to transform business/customer information into LMS/CMS knowledge to provide solutions that create value.
  • Ability to bring people together to accomplish common goals by sharing information, actively listening, providing candid feedback, resolving conflict and understanding/leveraging different behavioral styles.
  • Demonstrated capacity to be detail focused and highly organized.
  • Learning management system experience
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrates initiative and commitment for results
  • Ability to communicate and present effectively both verbal and written within multiple levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written in English
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, desire to learn, discover and seek opportunities for improvement.
