The opportunity - What you get to do
As a Data Engineer, you will be at the center of building the Data Science applications that empowers all
the Data Science and ML activities from data gathering, training and inferencing
- Play a key role in product development
- Be comfortable with both backend and frontend related technologies
- Handle project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized way
- Collaborate with Product Managers and fellow developers to understand the business
requirements, to design and deliver great customer experience
- Rapidly prototype and validate solutions to complex problems
- Curious and proactive in finding solutions to problems.
Skills and experience you already have :
- Care deeply about the user
- Enjoy working closely with product, design and customer teams
- 'Get' agile and are passionate about iterating to drive results
- Come with strong Computer Science fundamentals
- Have deep experience in Python and building APIs
- Are extremely comfortable with using a Javascript library and frameworks, preferably ReactJS
- Are comfortable working with RDBMS like Mysql
- Write code that is maintainable, reusable, and concise
- Basic understanding of Data Science and ML concepts
- See value in best practices like TDD, BDD and CI
- Believe that mentoring others helps you too
- Are an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills.
