Summary of Job Responsibilities
Selling IT solutions and services into larger SMB and Mid-Market Accounts
Products and solutions sold include software development, systems development, cloud infrastructure and applications, e-commerce systems, digital marketing technology services and solutions, application design UX/UI, CRM and Salesforce technology solutions, data science, AI services, fintech/blockchain solutions, and more.
Coordinate and present solutions that address customer needs
· Execute against territory and client plans to capitalize on market/industry and client opportunity.
· Keep client information and sales lead up to date in CRM.Plan and execute daily prospecting (manage and respond to leads through online business development platforms like UpWork, Clutch, Fiverr, Freelancer, Guru, and others, warm calling, cold calling, emailing) to key decision-makers, technical staff, and business influencers
Strategic planning with the customer, developers, and engineers
Deliver exceptional service and maintain meaningful relationships with clients
Challenge customer to see their business differently
Ability to work independently on multiple tasks
Continuous training to learn new products, services, and sales skills
Secure new business with prospects and existing clients through assigned channels.
Execute against territory and client plans to capitalize on market/industry and client opportunity.
Keep client information and sales leads up to date in CRM.
Own the relationship with the client – help drive the entire sales cycle, manage client questions/escalations, and pursue opportunities to expand scope and services.
Build relationships with developers, consultants, and the service team on assignments with clients to monitor engagement and develop a deeper understanding of clients.
Offers customized technology service solutions to clients by collaborating across teams/brands to leverage the full suite of our solutions.
Generate, qualify, develop, and close opportunities
Understand and convey complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level
Develop account opening and penetration strategies to achieve personal quota for assigned accounts and targets
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Manage accounts for expanded sales opportunities
Track, monitor, and report sales activities

Qualifications and Skills
2-5+ years’ sales experience preferably in a technology company or a B2B business
B2B IT software solutions and/or IT Services Sales (not SaaS): 3 years preferred
Strong drive, go-getter, extremely self-disciplined and determined attitude – will not accept failure or no for an answer
Experience working for a small to midsized technology services firm in the IT space: 1 year minimum
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing Field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of Account Management and/or Inside Sales experience, in the IT VAR space
Account management experience in a dynamic, high-technology environment
Strategic account planning experience
Background of strategic wins
Consistent record of exceeding defined goals
Proven ability to discuss and present different solution options
Must have a demonstrated track record of sales success.
Must be a self-motivated, results-oriented individual with a positive "get-it-done" attitude.
Must be able to exercise independent judgment and maintain confidentiality.
Must be able to take a proactive position in understanding client needs and partnering approach with clients.
Must be determined to succeed and be willing to work hard.
Must have excellent written, email and verbal communication skills with a solid command of the English language
Must be a team player with a strong work ethic that takes ownership of their job
Experience working with a large portfolio of technology products and services
An assertive personality, high energy level, and resilient character
Excellent and effective communication skills
Accurately forecast revenue streams and pipeline
Negotiating price vs. value
Exceptional organizational skills
Proficient in Windows OS, Outlook, Word, Excel, Google G Suite Office Tools, Whatsapp, Trello, Slack, Asana, CRM tools, Zoom, Goto Meeting, etc.
Good internet connection at home required
Industry knowledge: Knowledge and experience in talent management and/or to the staffing industry is a nice to have. IT Technical knowledge is highly preferred
