Job Description -
  1. We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join our growing Big Data and Advanced Analytics team within Group IT. The candidate will be contribute to designing and developing our Big Data and Advanced Analytics Platform.
  2. The focus of our Big Data platform is currently concentrated around Machine Learning and AI. The core of the platform is a Hadoop Data Lake and therefore the main part of the work will be concentrated around developing and maintaining the Hadoop Ecosystem.
  3. Our current team based in Denmark and Bangalore are supporting projects from around the Group and has daily interaction with the Data Scientists located in Group Risk Management and Group Development.
Qualifications -
  • The ideal candidate should possess most of the following skills or competencies
  • The Hadoop Ecosystems
  • HDFS and Hadoop File Formats
  • ORC, Parquet
  • Configuration Scripting Languages like Ansible or Chef
  • Hive, Spark and MapReduce
  • Git or similar code revision tools
  • Agile development and Continuous Integr

  • Experience with workflow management tools like Oozie, Airflow, Azkaban or Luigi.
