Review Application Design / J2EE architecture for Performance Scalability and Stability. Experience in performance engineering of Ecommerce Website is preferable. Contributes to project success by providing technical leadership on Target.com Ecommerce Platform. Defines / Reviews Solution Architecture and makes recommendations to improve system behavior Work load modeling; Performance engineering Good command to develop automation tools – implemented continuous integration solutions, CI pipeline, evaluate application readiness for cloud migration. Stay current on ecommerce technology trends Hands on exposure to systems integration of various modules in the Enterprise. Be flexible to play multiple leadership roles based on business need ( solution architect and performance architect ) Triage critical issues in production impacting performance and stability and Sales Conversion trends Evaluate and Review Technical solution for Performance Risks Recommend Products, Tools for Performance Engineering Capacity Planning and through understanding of hardware sizing implications to performance Make Peak season recommendations to business stakeholders Mastery in workload modelling / profiling applications / finding hidden patterns of application usage using web analytics tools. This role requires core architectural skill and a willingness to play core performance engineering responsibilities. Stay current on ecommerce technology trends and determines the impact of hardware and/or software upgrades on new and existing applications. Requirements Four year college degree 5 to 10 years systems and programming, technical support or implementation experience in either applications, technical services or telecommunications area Strong verbal, presentation and written communications skills for technical audiences; able to explain technical solutions to technical teams Good interpersonal, problem solving, reasoning and analytical skills Good negotiation skills Good planning and organizational skills Self-starter with self initiative and direction Works well independently Works with confidential information Good numeric aptitude Good understanding of PC and general office productivity applications Understands the retail business, technology, and the application of technology to our business Solid SDLC knowledge and expertise Any prior exposure to WCS or Solr Technologies, J2EE Frameworks is desirable.
