What will you do in this Digital role at Genpact?
A whole lot! We need someone who will support our sales teams in demonstrating delivery capabilities during RFP and RFQ presentations, and customer presentations. That person will also need to lead a team of Senior Managers and Managers to evaluate and take actions that are consistent with the company's overall strategy. They would need to conduct annual performance reviews for all direct reports and oversee performance management reviews as per annual and semi-annual cycles for all the employees in the team and on the account. And that’s where you come in.
How will you bring about change?
We want you to be the change! Use your skills to manage customer relationships and be responsible for the delivery of multiple engagements in the sourcing and procurement space. Make sure that process SLAs and delivery capabilities are consistently exceeded. Personally coach, train and mentor direct reports and provide career development opportunities through training. Maintain effective governance and control systems in the company. Make a difference!
What challenges and initiatives will you face in your first 6 months to 3 years in this role?
Plenty! But most importantly, you will need to drive operational excellence, gear the team up to meet out-of-industry performance metrics and drive retention across the team. Are you up to it?!

It’s possible, if you have a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Sourcing & Procurement Operations, out of which at least 5 years have been in a BPO environment. Can you lead procurement operations involving cross-functional teams? Do you have a strong understanding of procurement processes, systems and technology, in particular eProcurement, eSourcing, eAuctions, Contract Databases and transaction “eProcurement” catalogue systems? Are you a strong leader of people, who will be continuously coaching and developing the bench? Do you have good client relationship skills? Have you a proven track record of driving change in people and processes, with strong project management, implementation and process improvement skills? Are you good at working in teams? Can you deal with high levels of ambiguity? Are you data-driven and action-orientated, with strong reporting, data analysis and presentation skills?
