Job Location: Gurgaon or Hyderabad Job Description: You need, at a minimum, to have done your graduation and have 8-10 years’ experience in the Business HR domain. A stint in HR consulting and/or an MBA in HR domain will be an added advantage. What will you do in this HR role at Genpact? A whole lot! As an HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for driving employee engagement to multiple global accounts, with a span of 1000-1500 employees. Your expertise and talent will be called in to play to provide end-to-end HR support - across geography, delivery centers, horizontals - and across an employee life cycle, to enable Silent Operations and growth of the vertical. You will maintain control and deliver productivity on key cost levers such as C&B to revenue, Supervisor Span, Band Mix & Effect on Payroll. We need people who can own the Discipline & Compliance framework in accordance with G standards in all global delivery locations for assigned client accounts. We need help in providing careers to employees and we fill more than 70% positions internally. We need to enable growth of the business by partnering closely with businesses in responding to RFPs and staffing appropriately with speed. And that’s where you come in! How will you bring about change? We want you to be the change! Use your skills to take complete ownership and align HR priorities to the Business goals. You can do this by deploying the right talent at the right place at right time and cost! Drive HR engagement and working with global teams to drive the People agenda for the accounts. Ensure that the entire suite of HR processes is implemented by the business teams and that there is robust governance. Build trust and confidence in our employees, clients and key stakeholders. Prepare and implement HR OP plans and strategies, in order to achieve growth and profitability. Staff the positions as per ‘biz needs with speed’. Be an impartial but brutally honest mirror to the Ops VPs and AVPs. Monitor HR governance for the business across delivery centers and horizontals and make timely interventions to achieve improvements in business and people metrics. Ensure implementation of HR systems and processes so as to achieve employee motivation, productivity and retention. Create innovative strategies and plans for driving HR communication. Support business leaders in all crucial HR decisions. Make a difference! What challenges and initiatives will you face in your first 6 months to 3 years in this role? Plenty! This is a fast growing business and it requires a huge focus on hiring in time and fulfilling positions internally. Business VPs are constantly travelling to meet clients in order to grow the business, and it’s tough to get their mind share. You will need to be very assertive if you want to influence them and get your team members and decision makers to focus. You will need to implement key HR strategies and business plans, including hiring and employee retention. You will also need to liaison with and influence HR leaders, Functional Leaders, Clients, Business Leaders, Front Line managers, AVPs, VPs and employees. Are you up to it?!
