About Event

eWIT — Empowering Women in IT is a women’s forum that addresses the issues women face in the growing field of IT in India.

The online panel discussion is an attempt by eWIT — Empowering Women in IT to get women in Tech on par with the current trend of working from home.

About the Panelists

  1. Dr. Vasuki Mathivanan, PhD., is an accomplished psychologist with over 2 decades of experience in the field of mental health. To channelise and consolidate her vast experience and to render a noble service to society, she established Explore Counselling, an organisation with the committed motto of “Hopeless to Hopeful”. 

She is a visiting consultant to many corporates in Chennai. Her association with international experts in the field of counselling and psychology gave birth to the establishment of Indian Academy of Professional Supervisors. She is the Founder President of IAPS.

 

  1. Sudha Gopalakrishan, Senior Vice President and Global Head, Enterprise Integration, Intellect Design Arena, has an experience of over 27 years in the industry. She spearheads the process improvement initiatives of the organisation spanning conceptualisation, strategy for implementation, training and deployment and institutionalisation. 

In her role, she manages diverse functions such as Methods and Tools, Governance and Compliance, Customer Satisfaction, Corporate Security as well as Corporate Initiatives. She provides strategic insights to the executive leadership towards achieving organisational execution excellence. Her expertise in software process management and process improvements, project/program management and governance models, quality assurance and implementation of CMMI has enabled her organisation to define its process improvement roadmap. 

She has presented papers at international forums such as Global SEPG conference and has been part of the International Standards definition group of ISO representing India.

 

  1. Vickram leads the automation portfolio in Sutherland. His role is to design and develop tools and technologies to support the automation needs of Sutherland and its customers. 

He works on technologies ranging from chat bots, voice bots, robotic process automation, advanced PC troubleshooting to agent productivity improvement tools. Products designed and launched by his teams run on millions of devices and are being used by thousands of tech support engineers.

With more than seventeen years of experience in the ITES industry, Vickram has handled various roles in account management, sales and regional development,

technology development and operations. His special focus is to drive Sutherland’s growth & revenue leveraging the new age technology.

 

  1. Umasree Raghunath is a senior IT professional with IBM / author/ blogger/ poet/ lawyer/ diversity & inclusion social activist/ motivational speaker, past President of the Inner Wheel Club of Madras South and the Vice-President of eWIT

 

  1. Sarada Ramani is an entrepreneur, author, visiting faculty, ICC external committee member in many companies, member of  the Dean’s Advisory Board in Great Lakes University, motivational speaker and a Rotarian.
