BHIVE workspace has committed to support women entrepreneurs and build the open community SheTalks.

SheTalks is a platform that dedicated to women in business to support, connect and inspire. In the last 4 editions, we had the discussion on work-life balance, parenting and career, motivation to drive entrepreneurship and pitching to investors. At the fifth edition of SheTalks we will discuss Women Empower on how to build a right team, lead a team and grow it.   Our speakers come with rich industry experience in building a team, leading a team and guiding a team.

Invited SheTalkers: 

 Vani Shri, VP – Human Capital at Nexus Venture Partners.

Vani brings over 16 years of experience, most of which has been in technology and leadership recruitment, talent branding, project management, and training. Prior to joining Nexus, she spearheaded talent acquisition for Practo Technologies. She also led hiring at EFI, Flipkart’s leadership and corporate functions’ recruitment. She did an extensive techno-leadership hiring for AoL India and led the recruitment of computer science PhDs for Microsoft Research Labs India. Prior to the corporate hiring stint, she was a part of IT Services recruitment for ABC Consultants and Job Accord.

Vani loves music, theatre and is inclined towards writing poetry. When she is not working, she likes traveling and going on long drives with friends & family.

Priti Sawant, ‎Founder and CEO –Joulestowatts Business Solutions

She brings over two decades’ of experience in managing strategic engagements and leverages her vast operational experience to advise companies on growing their business by uncovering new opportunities and identifying untapped revenue streams in addition to developing leadership capital. She is widely recognised for her role in charting the growth of IT contract staffing in India and defining path-breaking staffing models for Fortune 500 technology companies. A hands-on people person, she is known for shaping and fostering enthusiastic and energetic work culture and building high-performance teams.

 Shalini Prakash, Principal at 500 Startups

She believes in the magic that happens at the intersection of entrepreneurship, technology and global impact. Her interests lie in working on how these intersections can be empowered to create transformational solutions.

She joined INK ( previously in association with TED ) in 2011 where her roles involved promoting INK’s platform through collaborative programs and partner networks. She has also led several youth initiatives which encourage cross-pollination of ideas and that are at the nexus of intellectualism and creativity. Apart from this engagement, She was “Entrepreneur in Residence” at GSF Global Accelerator Program and Program Manager at Kyron Accelerator Program.

 Lathika Pai, Managing Partner at Tekinroads Consulting LLP

Lathika Pai is a serial entrepreneur who has also worked in large technology companies in the US and UK. Her international experience includes working at Nortel, American Management Systems (CGI) and a $300million funded start up Relera. Her first entrepreneurial company Virtual Source was merged with Talisma’s Technical Support arm to form B2K Corp which grew to 600 employees and was then sold to Allsec Technologies. She has raised capital successfully for her ventures both through equity and debt funding. She is a founding Director of JobSkills, which is a social impact company that has partnered with the National Skills Development Corporation to skill and enhance the employability of Indians.

She worked as a journalist for over sixteen years before co-founding a media company, Raintree Media, with her husband Allen Mendonca, a veteran journalist who died in 2009. Raintree Media is a valued partner of the Global Village Partnerships, which publishes the BEST OF series of business atlases in 40 countries. The BEST OF books showcase the economic and cultural dynamism of the regions and are regarded as brand ambassadors by corporate and civic institutions.She is a writer, publisher, media consultant and entrepreneur. emphasis on creative approach, superlative quality of output, on time delivery, shoots for zero- error.

She received the Global Achievers Foundation award for outstanding contribution to national unity & economic growth in February 2016.

The Institution of Engineers, Karnataka State Centre, felicitated Sandhya for yeoman service to society in March 2016.

She received the SHRAMA SAADHANA Shining Star award for achieving success through professional excellence from the ISBR, ELCIA & PRCI in May 2016.
