There is a high demand for AI & ML professionals in the industry but it is crucial to have relevant skills, exposure and academic pedigree to be able to capitalise on these opportunities. The PGP-AIML program enables candidates to make this transition to high-growth careers in Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Data Science.

The program covers widely used AI & ML technologies and applications including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Reinforcement Learning, Intelligent Virtual Agents, Neural Network and Tensor Flow.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent.
  • Should also be comfortable using at least one programming language and be familiar with college-level mathematics and statistics (For candidates who do not know Python, we offer a free pre-program tutorial).

 

Course Outline

The key things that make our program unique are as follows:

  • Innovative approach: Our program offers a learning environment that causes minimal disruptions to your work schedule. In both the classroom and online formats sessions are conducted during the weekends and are assisted by online webinars, discussions and assignments for holistic learning. For every assignment, you will also get the model solution as a recorded walkthrough.
  • Focus on deep learning: Candidates spend nearly half the program mastering and applying deep learning algorithms like neural networks, deep neural networks and their variations like CNN and RNN which are used to in domains like computer vision & natural language processing.
  • Hands-on projects: Throughout the program, candidates would be working on multiple mini-projects, a capstone project and hackathons. The capstone is a mandatory industry project where the candidate works on real-life business problems under the guidance of an expert faculty or industry mentor.
  • Labs with GPU access: Work on our accelerated computing platform with GPUs and all other software tools that you will need to build and test deep learning models on complex data sets. You can access this lab from anywhere and won’t need to struggle with lack of computing power and incompatibility issues.
  • ePortfolio & Github: All the hands-on work gets captured in every candidate’s Machine Learning ePortfolio. As part of this program, you will also be making all of your project submissions on Github. The ePortfolio and Github profile are shareable documents that our participants use to indicate their expertise and exposure in AI & ML.
  • Peer Learning: The PGP-AIML class consists of working professionals from excellent organizations and backgrounds with diverse experiences across industries and roles. As a participant, interactions with such a peer group will enhance your learning experience.

 

Learning Format: Weekend Classroom

Duration: 12 month

  • 250 hours of weekend classroom sessions, one weekend every month for 12 months
  • Additional 150+ hours of online learning including self-learning videos, reading material and projects
  • 12+ hands-on projects and 1 capstone project under the guidance of a mentor
  • Participate in Great Learning's AI & ML Hackathons
