Taylor & Francis was founded in London in 1852, but its roots extend to 1798 when Richard  Taylor launched the Philosophical Magazine, one of the first scientific journals produced by  an independent company. It was the start of many subsequent close collaborations with  scholarly societies. 

Taylor & Francis has been operating for 20 years in India from our offices in New Delhi,  which is a testament to both long-standing local partnerships and the value of Indian  research publishing to the world. With coverage of India and neighbouring countries – Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal & Sri Lanka – the office is a microcosm of our parent company,  Informa, housing all functions and departments of our global business. 

Formed in 2017 as part of our existing India operations, the Product and Technology team  in Bengaluru has developed from zero, moving quickly to be more than hundred and  beyond. On 1 April 2020, the office became Taylor & Francis Technology Services LLP,  demonstrating our commitment to T&F’s digital-first modernization as well as our growth  and expertise in the region.  

Bengaluru is a center of excellence for technological expertise and innovation. This  establishment strengthens T&F’s ability to attract and secure the best technology and  engineering talent and achieve our aims in such a competitive market.
