Here at Swayambhav we are friendly, creative, and value-driven. We believe in living with a purpose and in being effective at what we do. Parents and teachers shape our children. Our vision is to make effective parenting and empathic teaching a National initiative. We do this through seminars and one-on-one coaching. Through expanding our volunteer base, in 2017 we envision a greater impact on educational institutions and Indian families worldwide. Kalpana, one of our volunteers, decided to use her time such that she could continue research while being there for her young child. “I started with the intent of staying in touch with my knowledge. It was satisfying to help other mothers like me and also know that my efforts were providing for another child’s education through Swayambhav’s sponsorship program,” says Kalpana. Kalpana was able to work comfortably at a pace that suited her and her family, and gain valuable parenting skills.
