Pollinate Group is an international social enterprise that brings life-improving products to people living in economic and energy poverty in India’s city slums and Nepal's remote villages.
Our long-lasting solutions, including solar lights, clean cookstoves, reusable sanitary napkins and more – are all aimed at improving the health, safety, quality of life, and immediate environment of families in poverty. We distribute these products to the hardest-to-reach families through a diverse network of ‘Suryamukhi’ and ‘Pollinators’ - women from disadvantaged backgrounds and remote communities who work as door-to-door sales agents, or who own their own retail shops and franchises . We empower our Suryamukhi and Pollinators with the skills, knowledge and confidence necessary to sell and service quality products, affordable to the poorest families with short-term payment plans. Women in our network earn significant incomes and are promoted to positions of leadership within our network
