  • Four weeks of paid family care leave globally for employees to care for family members as needed due to a serious health condition, military deployment or foster placement.
  • Stipends for all employees irrespective of gender or sexual orientation towards adoption, surrogacy, egg retrieval and egg donation, where permitted by law.
  • The Expectant Parent Program includes a wide array of services designed to support employees through pregnancy, parenthood and their reintegration to work following parenting leave. Key features of the program include dedicated onsite Parent Resource Coordinators (PRC), mentoring, onsite health center support, fitness and nutrition advice, resilience support services, an online portal with information and resources for expecting and new parents, manager training programs, flexible work arrangement and accommodations and home pick-up and drop in office cabs.
  • The Parent Enrichment Program supports parents and care-givers in their ongoing parenting journey. The program features resources, sessions and workshops on parenting and child care.
Diversity Initiatives
  • Returnship Program - The program is a part of the firm’s ongoing commitment to build a diverse pipeline of talented women who can offer a new perspective and benefit from the experience of working at Goldman Sachs. Launched in Bengaluru in 2013, this 12-week paid program enables women who have taken a career break to explore a new career path, strengthen their technical skills, network with professionals, and assess their ability to transition back into the workforce on a full-time basis.
  • Armed Forces Internship Program – Launched in Bengaluru in 2014, the Armed Forces Internship Program (AFIP) is a 12 week paid internship that offers retired Armed Forces professionals, a guided period to develop professional skills, strengthen their  understanding of financial services and prepare for a new career in the industry.
  • Employee inclusion networks and interest forums, which are open to all professionals at Goldman Sachs, support in driving the firm’s diversity and inclusion strategy. They offer awareness building educational programs, create networking forums and host conferences. We have over 100 chapters of employee networks, including the below in Bengaluru:
