About Return to Work Program: Real Returns™

Real ReturnsTM is a diversity initiative designed to recruit talented professionals and facilitate their return to the workforce. It is a paid employment program that runs for approximately 12 weeks. Participants will collaborate on projects suited to their expertise, interests, and skills.

Who is it for? You are planning to re-enter the workforce after an extended absence of at least two years. You are an experienced professional with an interest in the financial services industry, along with an academic degree. You will add fresh perspectives to our business and help us build our future, and your own.

What does the program look like? The Real Returns program consists of the following components:

Project work – On the job

You will collaborate on projects which leverage your expertise, interests and skills within one of our businesses

Training

You will participate in a variety of orientation events and training sessions throughout the program that are designed to help you transition back into the work environment. You will also receive information about changes in the financial services industry, improve your technology skills and participate in workshops.

Network

Real Returns gives you the opportunity to broaden your professional network. You will meet and interact with employees within your own business area as well as with other Real Returns participants. You will also be able to participate in a variety of networking events and speaker sessions, enabling you to build relationships throughout the bank.

Support and Mentorship

You will have access to a large support network throughout the program, including a Real Returns program manager, a buddy for guidance on day to day tasks, and a senior mentor who can provide career advice and help you navigate the organisation.
