Women, the world over, are handicapped by a systemic lack of confidence no matter how well-qualified, educated, skilled, or talented we are in any field. This is a phenomenon that social scientists have been studying for the last few years in great depth and trying to tackle at all levels – in young girls, teenagers, college students, workplace entrants, and even highly successful women in the workplace, who don’t really believe that they got where they did due to their natural abilities or that their promotions were completely earned. This is not just worrying; it is downright alarming.

And, in career-break women, we have found, confidence levels plummet drastically for even a short break of 6 months. The very thought of returning to the rat-race is enough to make most women on a career-break shudder with insecurity, accompanied by all its niggling doubts.

How do I get back out there? How do I figure out what I want to do now? Do I want to work from home, or get out and go to an office? Who’d call me for an interview? Do I have what it takes to return to that world? Did I ever, really, have it?

The secret to figuring that out is about to be revealed...

Yes, you ALWAYS had it; yes, you STILL have it; and you’re going to FIND it, HARNESS it, and LEARN HOW to use it!

Rebuilding your confidence, improving your decision-making skills, and owning your decisions and opinions are key areas that you need to work on when contemplating restarting your career. We have tied up with an innovative and fun theatre company – We Move Theatre – to host an interactive workshop to help you rebuild your confidence through movement. The aim of the workshop is to call forth the qualities that truly empower women by facilitating a process that allows each of you to recognize her individual strengths, which when utilized properly can evoke clarity of thought and decision-making in diverse situations. The workshop also wants to show women how to employ an enthusiastic and confident approach towards any task using every available opportunity, and to illustrate the importance of raising an opinion and standing one’s ground.

It promises to be extremely useful for women reentering the job-market, as well as those women who want to better their decision-making skills at their current place of work, not to mention fun, adventurous, and lighthearted - a great way to spend a couple of hours!
