Aparna Mittal is an example of women leaders who have achieved success and recognition through sheer hard work, focus and dedication, and their vision for themselves to explore their potential beyond what is seen as the norm.
After more than 12 years of a distinguished M&A /Corporate Law practice which included being Partner with India's leading Tier 1 law firms, she felt she had achieved it all in that sphere and wanted to pursue her dream to work in the social impact space.
And so, in what is often seen as an unprecedented move, she quit her well-established law practice to set up the Samāna Centre for Gender, Policy & Law.
As the Founder, she advises leading corporates and other organizations in India on a wide range of customized Diversity and Inclusion, Human Resource and CSR initiatives, programs and workshops; each with a focus on women and LGBTQ empowerment, capacity building, and inclusion.
