It was a great opportunity to attend the Meet and Greet event at VISA. This is the first time VISA organized such a session for women returnees and all the VISA employees present there were very supportive.

The event was a good experience to learn and know more about Visa’s business, work culture and the various opportunities available with them in India. They encouraged us to apply for relevant jobs through JobsForHer.

My career break lasted 3.5 years but within two weeks of the event, my profile was shortlisted, and they called me in for an interview. After three rounds, they confirmed my appointment…on the same day!

These events are great initiatives by JobsForHer and companies, so one must utilize the opportunity well. Due to such meet and greet sessions, we can get a fair chance to showcase our abilities even after a career break.

We must attend these events regularly because you never know when the day is just perfect for that chance that you have been waiting for. And when opportunity knocks your door, you just present the best version of yourself!
