Our Story
In March 2015, HerKey (formerly JobsForHer) was founded by Neha Bagaria and a team of 5 other women returnees, working out of Social, Church Street, a restobar in Bangalore. That team has now grown to over 60 members, with 80% women returnees, with a culture of high ownership, deep accountability and inclusive support to one another.

After graduating from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Neha founded her first company, Paragon, to bring the Advanced Placement program to Indian high-school students.
When marriage took her to Bangalore from Mumbai, she started working at Kemwell, a contract pharmaceutical manufacturing company, in the field of HR, Finance and Marketing Strategy.
Neha then took a 3.6-year career break when she had her two sons.
During this personal journey, she became aware of the difficulties women face when trying to re-enter the workforce.
She then became committed to the cause of enabling women to achieve their potential and founded HerKey (formerly JobsForHer).com on International Women’s Day, 2015.
Neha has been featured in the Forbes India’s list of 25 Women Trailblazers who are shattering stereotypes, and in the 19 Changemakers to Watch Out For in 2019 list by Deccan Herald.Neha is an entrepreneur at heart, a mother of two boys, an avid reader, a closet dancer and a travel enthusiast.
A dynamic professional with 15 years of experience in various facets of HR, Priya is a consistent performer with a proven track record of successfully managing HR functions.
In her previous roles, Priya has worked with media organisations like Network 18, IT giant Wipro Technologies, and also with budding tech companies like Sakha Global.
Her skills include recruitment, employee engagement, training, learning & development, employee grievance handling, creation of policies, statutory requirements, smooth employee exit and separation.
She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and a PG diploma in Human Resource Management.
Priya has taken career breaks to take care of her daughter and pursue her passion for travel, reading and spending quality time with family.
Her years of cracking the numbers and balancing home and work has taught her administration and people management skills. Her motto is " Salary is not what you earn, Salary is what you save." If you have difficulty in deciding to save money and taxes even though your expenses increase, she is the one you go to.

With diverse domain knowledge across social media, events, product launches, and strategic planning, Ramya is a woman returnee herself. She came back to work after a 7-year break, and hasnt looked back ever since!
